I’ve worked as a reporter for a variety of newspapers and digital outlets, writing everything from features to daily news hits for publications including Vogue, New York Magazine, and Popsugar. I’m especially interested in immersive, on-the-ground reporting; in 2021, I received a grant to pursue an independent project in Hawaii on the conflict between TMT scientists and Native Hawaiians, which went on to win several national awards.

I work as an assignment editor on Nexstar Media’s breaking news and research desk, pitching stories for national coverage, delivering exclusives and coordinating reporting efforts across the U.S., Israel, and Ukraine.

At The Story Exchange, I worked on podcasts from start to finish: researching, reporting in the field, writing and editing scripts, and recording in the studio. Our episode on Afghan women’s experiences under the Taliban, built around original interviews, went on to earn Webby and Ambie nominations.

As the lead social media creator at Hopeprint, I documented the organization’s work with refugee communities by photographing events, creating posts with longform captions and producing video content to engage a broader audience. I also supported community functions and helped organize the annual Culture Gala.

In the corporate communications department at Wakefern—the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the U.S.—I wrote several stories per week for a digital newsletter distributed to tens of thousands of employees. I also assisted individual divisions with communications needs ranging from copywriting and editing to video campaign production.
